(The broker or the primary appraiser must join NORMLS before their affiliate agents/appraisers can receive the Service.)
If you are a real estate agent or an appraiser and your broker or primary appraiser is already a Participant of NORMLS, click here.
Eligibility: You must hold a current, valid real estate brokers license and are capable of offering and accepting cooperation and compensation to and from other Participants or are licensed or certified by an appropriate state regulatory agency to engage in the appraisal of real property.
Each real estate broker or appraiser must complete an application for Participation, and all other noted required paperwork. Prior to the completion, you must read and understand the Rules & Regulations of the Northern Ohio Regional Multiple Listing Service and agree to abide by these and other Rules, Regulations, and Bylaws as may be adopted from time to time by the Board of Governors. Click here to access the Rules & Regulations. The Bylaws of the Northern Ohio Regional Multiple Listing Service will be included in the Participant Packet received by brokers, once membership is approved.
Participants will be charged agent dues, and each real estate licensee and licensed or certified appraiser affiliated with that Participant will be charged agent dues. The Participant is ultimately responsible for the payment of all dues and fees associated with his/her participating office(s).
Once NORMLS Membership receives your application, it will be verified for all required information, and then faxed to your noted Board for approval. Once approval is received your information will be entered into NORMLS database, and you will be notified of your acceptance date. It usually takes 2-3 business days to process your application.
All new Participants and their affiliated agents/appraisers must get computer training for NORMLS online system NEOHREX before access will be granted. The Basic Rapattoni class is mandatory for all Brokers, agents, and appraisers in order to receive a password for NEOHREX access. Additionally, if you would like the ability to enter and change listings for your office, you must take the Listing Input class. (Appraisers are not eligible to attend the Listing Input class.)
If you are located outside of the NORMLS jurisdiction, you are eligible to view our classes online. Once you review the online class and fax back the password form to NORMLS, you will receive access to NEOHREX.
If you have already taken these classes with NORMLS then you DO NOT have to take them again.
